Five Northumbrian Folk Songs

This set of five Northumbrian folks songs are arranged for SATB a cappella with soprano solo. The folk songs set are:
1. The Water of Tyne
2. Elsie Marley
3. Ma bonny lad
4. Bonny at morn
5. Bobby Shaftoe
Songs 1, 3 and 5 feature a solo soprano. I wrote the first arrangement for a tour of the Chamber Choir of Durham University to Poland in 1998 and over the following years I added another four songs.
